Hi, I’m Scott Almand, a sports photographer with a deep passion for freezing unforgettable moments in time. While I enjoy all forms of photography from basic headshots and beautiful landscapes to events and concerts, my absolute favorite is sports.
I grew up in Tampa, Florida, where I played baseball all the way through high school which is where my passion for sports and competition developed. Though I was on the field as a baseball player, I was a massive fan of all the Tampa Bay area teams — the Buccaneers, Lightning, Rays, and the Orlando Magic. I still vividly remember sitting in the stands, looking down at the photographers on the field, and thinking that capturing those moments, from that perspective, had to be the coolest job in the world. That childhood wonder never really left me.
For over 20 years now, I’ve had the privilege of photographing athletes at every stage — from eager young children just beginning their sports journeys to professional athletes competing at the highest levels. I’ve been fortunate to work directly with professional athletes and multiple media outlets, covering a wide range of sports with a special focus on soccer, football, and baseball. From the intensity of the game, to the raw emotion on the sidelines, I specialize in sports photography that goes beyond the action. My goal is simple yet powerful: to capture the stories that unfold in every match, every triumph, every quiet moment of determination — images that will last forever.
